The Brightvale Travel Brochure by halondrus
--------
Back in Year 6 on the 11th Day of Hiding, Brightvale was discovered by the rest of Neopia. As such we celebrate this day as Discovery of Brightvale Day. Brightvale is the neighbor to Meridell although it is much smaller. It is headed by King Hagan who lives in the Brightvale Castle. King Hagan is a brilliant Skeith who dedicates his time to learning and this love of learning has rubbed off on most of the folks who live in the land as well. It is a beautiful area rich in greenery, rich in shopping, rich in battledome help, and rich in wisdom making it a very popular tourist destination for all sorts of Neopians. If this appeals to you, do stop on by and see it all for yourself as soon as you can! Shopping Brightvale Armoury These elegant robes are more than fashion – they are also protective. You can use these in battle against foes to protect yourself and even possibly have a bonus effect. This is a great place to shop if you like form and function, but especially so if you are a fighter. Try on and try out as many as possible to ensure you get the one (or ones) that best fit your needs. Brightvale Books This scholarly Ixi will sell you all sorts of books to better yourself. You can learn about all sorts of things from learning some handy do it yourself tips from the Stained Glass Repair Guide or gain useful knowledge from The Mote Encyclopedia and more! There are also biographies on exciting Neopians such as Roberta or King Hagan if you want to get to know their exciting lives and brilliant beliefs just a little deeper. Better yourself in any subject or as many subjects as possible – just as King Hagan would. Brightvale Glaziers If you want to spruce up your Neohome or have a quick need to replace a window, this shop will help you out. There are many to choose from, ranging from simple and tasteful to loud and colourful. Whatever aesthetic and style you have there is most definitely a window for that. The best part is they can ship it directly to your Neohome, but you will have to be the one to install it yourself. Maybe you need to pick up an installation guide as well, which they do not sell here so good luck with that. Brightvale Motery If you need to pick up some motes for the battledome this is the place to go. Air Mote, Dust Mote, Fire Mote, Plushie Mote, Salt Mote, Zen Mote… and everything in between. These adorably useful friends will certainly prove themselves in battle as you take on your friends in friendly matches and foes in less than friendly ones. Fruits of Brightvale If you’re hungry while you’re visiting, why not eat like a local? Come grab a Prickly Merato and Screlon Salad with some Skeem on Toast. If you’re feeling thirsty, a nice refreshing Winterberry Juice will hit the spot. Don’t forget to pick up some Grenanna Jam as a souvenir. You can also pick up some wings for your fruity Chia friends; the wings are edible as well, but it’s probably best not to let them know that part. Royal Potionery If you need some special potions to give you a boost in the dome head on over here. Pick up one of the leaded vials, an elixir, or a flask. You can also get a Voidberry Potion, Squibble Berry Potion, Potion of Night, and even more. It is a very well rounded shop that can make you a well rounded battler. Train up and get moving! The Scrollery Another helpful shop for all your battling needs! This one sells useful scrolls such as Scroll of Freezing and Scroll of Flame Strike. Some of them can even make you smarter: Negg Scroll, Scroll of Forgotten Promises, and Scroll of the Scholar. Pick a few different ones up to ensure you are well rounded in battle and ready to take on anyone and anything. Activities Brightvale Colouring If you love colouring and you love Brightvale, you can stop by and print out these pages and get to work! You can colour in Hagan, the Wheel of Knowledge, lots of Neopets reading and learning, and more. So grab a page and some crayons and get to work. The only thing limiting you here is your imagination. Wheel of Knowledge Twice a day you can spin this wheel for 400 Neopoints. There are 16 possible spaces you can land on and each give you something unique. 1. An avatar Brightvale Castle This is where you can meet King Hagan himself. He is always willing to meet a fan and will listen to what you say carefully. Can you impress him with your wisdom or will he humiliate you in front of everyone? Only the wisest and bravest are willing to gain his respect so perhaps tread carefully should you decide to approach him. He has multiple libraries in his castle so it is going to be hard to impress him, but if you do it is a thrill like no other. He will also give you an item if he is impressed or if he pities you enough he will chuck you some Neopoints for your trouble. He can be found in one of his libraries from 8am to 9am NT, 1pm to 2pm NST, and 7pm to 8pm NST so you will not be able to meet with him then. Conclusion As you can see, Brightvale has a lot to offer. With such a rich culture and unique landscape it is certainly appealing no matter what your main interest is for a holiday. If you come around Discovery of Brightvale Day you will get to also participate in the existing festivities the land has to offer and may even have a bit of extra luck on your side if you spin the wheel on that day. Come on over and see for yourself!
